I had a great time with my friends here! We visited the Monterey Bay Aquarium and played some top-notch golf at nearby courses. The pool was nice, just remember you have to step outside to access it. Overall, the location was perfect for exploring the area, and being close to the National Steinbeck Center was a huge plus.
However, we did encounter a frustrating check-out experience where a friend's personal card was charged incorrectly, which took some time to resolve.

The room was super comfy, but the loud AC made it a bit hard to sleep. The breakfast was a hit, with fresh pastries that were yummm! Overall a fun stay.

excellent access to parks and attractions for urban explorers
During my stay, I loved how close it was to Sherwood Park, perfect for a leisurely stroll, and it only took me a few minutes to walk to the nearby John Steinbeck Library, making my city explorations feel effortless. the breakfast options were also a nice touch for fueling my adventures. As a solo traveler, I appreciated that the room was clean and offered enough space for my needs, but the air conditioner had a strong odor that made it challenging to use comfortably.

The hotel provided a comfortable stay with immaculate rooms and a genuinely accommodating staff who promptly resolved my check-in issue. The scenic, secluded location offered privacy and great views, while the breakfast was surprisingly good, featuring unique items like Italian strata. However, the hotel felt a bit dated and needed a refresh, coupled with a somewhat sketchy neighborhood environment around it, which affected my overall comfort.

Family with children Should steer clear of this place
The rooms were immaculate and spacious, really had room to move around, and my kids felt right at home. The location was secluded at the end of the street, gave us some privacy and those mountain views were fine.
It wasn’t inexpensive, but at least the conditions were acceptable.

The room impressively clean and fresh. The bed comfortable with plenty of pillows. Breakfast options were decent—hot options were typical, but good enough to fill up. Security measures in place which made me feel safe. However, the surrounding area felt sketchy. Homelessness and ladies of the night nearby took away from the experience. The hot tub was out of order during my stay, which was a letdown after a long drive. Staff at breakfast were friendly but check-in experience could've been better. they seemed a bit overwhelmed. Overall, a mix of highs and lows that made for a decent stay but room for improvement.

If you're a foodie like me, you’ll love the nearby Los Altos Restaurant for its bomb Indian cuisine—totally a flavor explosion! Plus, the hotel’s breakfast was surprisingly legit, nothing to snooze on. And shoutout to the super clean and spacious room I stayed in. it made my trip more enjoyable.
The pool was out of action since who knows when, which kinda bummed me out. Plus, the front desk vibe was a little stale. can’t believe the check-in staff were munching and didn’t seem too pumped to help us.
